byMaraca is all about traditionally silversmithed jewellery for non-traditional people, a selection of bold yet sophisticated pieces made by me, Mareike, in my workshop on the Wirral, UK.
If you are after some beautiful, unique and handmade jewellery, look no further! byMaraca jewellery is carefully designed, planned and executed, and is meant to last a lifetime.
All pieces are crafted based on traditional silversmithing techniques, handmade from start to finish: from the first snip of the pliers to the last high-shine polish.
So, if you think 'yes, that's me, I love a handcrafted piece, but it needs to be ME', I welcome you on my page, in my workshop, my online shop and my creative brain. byMaraca jewellery comes from me, a one-woman small business, and is started and finished by me. I even design only jewellery I would (and do!) wear myself.

byMaraca sources all supplies from UK-based businesses where possible. Small batch smithing isn't wasteful by over-producing on goods. Read more here.
You are guaranteed to receive a piece that has come from a small business which uses UK-based suppliers wherever possible, and strives to be sustainable from start to finish. Most byMaraca pieces start out as plain wire or sheet metal, and once they leave my jewellery bench and are shipped worldwide from my little workshop here in Merseyside, they are finished, shiny pieces of jewellery, ready to carry meaning.

THE PERFECT GIFT DOES EXIST
1 - byMaraca adjustable rings! Don't know the ring size of your giftee?! No problem! Get an adjustable ring and it'll be right. The opening of the ring is always either hidden or part of the design - no cheap looks here!
2 - byMaraca necklace of choice! Most pendants give you a choice of necklace in my shop: A silk ribbon (if you have nice chains already and want to opt for a more affordable option), faux leather choker length, 925 Sterling Silver or gold-plated 925 Sterling Silver. There's something for everyone and for every budget
3 - byMaraca earrings for those with sensitive ears! All posts (the part that goes through the ear) are made of 925 Sterling Silver, which reduces the likelihood of itchy ears. While I don't advertise my earrings as hypoallergenic, a lot of customers that tend to get itchy ears from brass are grateful for the silver.
4 - byMaraca Gift Card! You can buy gift cards in the byMaraca shop and let your giftee choose from the amazing selection of earrings, necklaces, bangles or whatever else they might have their eye on!
